Paul Laskow's entrance to electronic manufacturing occurred in 1977 when he was hired by Digital Equipment Corporation in the advanced manufacturing technology department. There he developed technology to apply leadless chip carries to a ceramic substrates and went on to develop the first single in line memory modules. In 1981 he left Digital to co-found Electronic Designs, Inc., a company that utilized advanced manufacturing techniques to package processors and memory in multi-functional modules. After a successful sale of the company, Paul founded Micro Electronic Technologies Inc., an OEM making SIMM modules for mini and personal computer manufacturers. Micro Electronic Technologies, Inc. evolved into an Electronic Contract Manufacturer (ECM) providing services to both small and large companies. It was here that ManEx was first installed as a windows application. In 1997, Micro Electronics Technologies, Inc., was sold and Paul became a consultant, selling, installing and training other ECM’s in ManEx. |
